Develop business relationships with prospective clients in the assigned vertical/industry segment to generate new business for the organization.
Research information for developing client base within vertical and determine their potential.
Analyze assigned industry potential and determine the value of prospective clients.
Listen to client requirements and present appropriately to make a sale.
Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for prospective clients.
Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing return on time investment.
Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential clients to prospect for new business.
Supply the customer care team and management with oral and written reports on client needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and feature requests.
Liaison with sales and business development teams.
Well-rounded professional with a persuasive personality and exceptional sales skills.
Organized and efficient.
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing company dynamics.
Sales-driven and results-focused with the initiative to achieve sales goals and quotas.
Basic to intermediate computer skills are required, with experience using CRM systems.
A technical background/virtual sales experience would be an asset, but is not required.
Demonstrated aptitude for problem solving with the ability to determine solutions for clients (personal, consultative sales approach).
Professional sales training considered an asset.
Strong communication, analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to think strategically and suggest creative solutions.
Positive attitude, confident and competitive.
A good sense of humor goes a long way.
